THE CHURCH OF GOD, 1:2 The group of sanctified people I am ministering to here is just as much a church of God as the one in Corinth. The language used here is different from mine; the culture differs from mine; and the traditions and styles of dress vary from mine, but they are genuinely a church of God. These saints are God’s own children. They are calling on the name of the Lord here and witnessing to their own generation. Clear evidence shows that they are the Lord’s own called-out people.
