A profile of a winner. 2 Corinthians 2:14. “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.”
He is a man with a compassionate heart. He puts others first, right at the beginning of his ministry to them, because he wants them to grow. He forgives and teaches forgiveness, so the forgiven all know – HE IS A WINNER! He is a man with conquering faith, who has experienced God leading him from place to place knowing that God leads the procession. He’s been initiated into real Christianity that cannot be imitated; not some counterfeit, powerless Gospel. HE IS A WINNER!
He is a man of Unquenchable optimism, who when he says “Thanks be to God,” means every word. He has experienced circumstances that were tough, but trusting the Lord, and confident of Unvarying success, He knows God will not be thwarted. God’s Person and work are “Always triumphant” – God finishes what He started. His confidence in God assures us - HE IS A WINNER! Accompanying his labors, there is an Unforgettable impact – a “fragrance” that’s real. It is obvious he has been given the Holy Spirit’s seal on the work to which he has been called. He is a man of Unimpeachable integrity – this man is genuinely sincere. There is no question as to whose image he bears. HE IS A WINNER! The Undeniable reality is there with evidence for all to see that this man is being what God intended him to be. Now how about me? Is victory in my sight? God help me to show daily that Christ is my life. AM I A WINNER?
