ALL SUFFICIENCY. 2 Corinthians 9:8. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
From God Himself, comes all that is needed; all the grace that is necessary for us to do what He wills. My part in this grace is to be sure that I take heed of what is needed to fulfill every good work that lies in front of God’s people so that I can be a participant. It is not from ourselves that we give what we have because the Source of all giving is God. It is from the abundance of all that God gave to us that through us, God’s grace abounds to meet the needs of others. To give of our bounty, and to give from our heart provokes others to meet needs they can see all around them. Many are ready and willing to provide what is needed and do what they can but need someone to start. From them will God’s blessings abound and the joy of giving and receiving brings thanks and praise to God.
In using with grace, integrity, and dignity all that God gave to me, I am blessed. When from the storehouse of God’s abounding grace. I am able to meet the needs of others, as a “hilarious” giver, I am able to see God’s blessings abound in the place where His gracious provisions are met by grateful hands and hearts that reach out to take what has been offered. From the sufficiency I have, the needs of others are met and the giving brings glory to God. The results of such work to which our minds are so bent will also bring unity to the saints of the Lord. Overshadowing all this is God’s “unspeakable gift,” that defies all attempts to define. This I know personally, I have experienced it, and I am deeply thankful for this gift so sublime.
