2 Timothy 2:13

IMMATURE BELIEVERS

IMMATURE BELIEVERS. 2nd Timothy 2:13 Immature believers might struggle to stay faithful to the Lord during times of opposition, persecution, sickness, and rejection. Even when we feel we can't go on, our Lord Jesus Christ will never abandon those who are His. He is always faithful in saving and keeping those who truly believe in Him. He promised to be with us until the end of the age.

If we fail our Lord in any way, we will lose fellowship with Him, and our souls will mourn. Our prayers will be blocked, and the heavens will seem “like brass.” The only solution is to confess our sins, trusting that He is just and able to forgive us. When we come close to Him, He will come close to us.

God remains on His throne, and He will remember His people. Even when trials oppress us and burdens weigh us down, He will never leave us alone. God is still on His throne, and He will remember His own; His promise is sure—He will not forget you. God is still on His throne.

Our Lord's holy and just character prevents Him from denying what He accomplished when He saved us. His faithfulness is the ultimate support for a fallen Christian: “He cannot deny Himself.” “If any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the propitiation for our sins…”
