ACTS 14 A principle throughout scripture. God is pleased when His people work together. Work is done by several associates, each doing a part but subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole.
A. Necessities
1. An accepted leader.

3. Basic agreement on activities.
4. A strong, God-given love and loyalty among team members.
5. A division of labor among the team.
B. Unity: Spiritual unity is made in action.
1. True value of things is seen in action.
2. Identity of spirit is seen in action (sacrifice, danger)
3. Identity of purpose is seen in action (earnestness)
C. Operations - functions
1. Same objective Jesus had - Gospel to every creature.
2. Same method Jesus used - multiplying laborers.
3. Same vision Jesus had - every person is important.
4. Same attitude Jesus had - servant of all people.
5. Same standard Jesus had - excellence.
D. Objectives - effective communication - Acts 14:1
1. Warmth and sincerity - people sense us.
2. Accurate material - do your homework.
3. Composure - be calm and controlled.
4. Friendliness - reach out to people.
E. Communicate:
1. Express potential and real dangers.
2. Establish believers in the faith by going back over the ground.
3. Strengthen souls for daily living.
4. Encourage spirits: commend and display enthusiasm.
5. Teach the truth: discipleship costs.
