ACTS 18 A. Teaching.
1. Teach doctrine. Know your stuff.
a. Word of God b. Prayer c. Holy living d. Stewardship e. The Person of Christ f. Holy Spirit g. End times h. Discipleship i. Leadership j. Gospel
2. Way of life. Living with them, traveling together, ministering, and constantly associating and interacting was Jesus' method.
3. Purpose.
a. Evangelization b. Knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ
4. Faith
a. Enemies: fear and doubt b. Proper impressions
5. Patience: Learn to keep your cool, and others will too.
6. Love
a. For God b. For people.
7. Endurance: don't give up or back off unnecessarily.
8. Persecutions: keep attacking, move ahead, don't retreat.
9. Sufferings: advance despite pain or personal problems.
B. Attitude: we are responsible for our actions and the results they bring. God told Paul FIVE THINGS:
1. "Do not be afraid." The opposite of faith (fear provokes fear).
2. "Keep on speaking." A hard thing in opposition or a tense situation.
3. "I am with you." Remember Who made the promise.
4. "No man will hurt you." God is involved, too.
5. "I have many people in this city." In the present tense, to God's mind, He already had them.
