Colossians 2:16–23

LIVE HIGHER. Colossians 2:16-23 All charges against a sinner are removed when that person accepts the substitutionary work of Christ as full and sufficient payment to reconcile us with God. The crucifixion of Christ was a public act on His part when He "suffered, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God." That work has been completed on our behalf, and as believers, our public testimony through baptism shows those who observe us who we are and whom we trust. There are no additions to that great salvation that hold any value. In fact, any effort to add to the sacrifice our Lord Jesus Christ made is not only ineffective but also an insult to the all-sufficiency of the One who paid the ultimate price.
