Leviticus 17:11

Do it right

Do it right. Leviticus 17:11. God has a place He has chosen for you to come and place your sacrifice on “His altar,” so you do not yield to pressures and temptations that follow pagan customs. The way those who are not God’s children follow is the path of least resistance, which only pleases me. To set the rules for your religious sacrifices, you allow the idolatrous forms of darkness that cannot atone for sin. Never let the “goat-idol demon” of actions people take in the name of religion be mentioned. Never prostitute yourselves to dark “Egyptian gods.” To look at such vile things or even consider them acceptable to God is an abomination and will lead to the same outcome as for those who have trod on Christ’s blood.

The blood itself, the source of fleshly life, is forbidden, as is eating and feasting on blood in a pagan manner. The symbolism of blood poured out represents a sinless life offered to pay the price for sin, which is death. In other ways, God protects His people from transmitted diseases that might take a life. If blood ingested carries evidence of diseases, only God knows the impact it could have on a person's health and well-being.

When God makes His mind and will so clear to me that I cannot mistake it, far be it from me to ever turn away from such instructions. He knows the answers to the problems and choices of my life. He knows the end of the matter, so never veer from the course He set nor spurn His holy will. Whatever plans God makes for me are always right, even if I do not understand everything. If they are responsible and true, my acts will stand in the light of divine holiness—and fulfill His blessed will.
