SPEAK, EXHORT, REBUKE. Titus 2:15 Titus was a young man responsible for teaching God's people. He was to demonstrate integrity and seriousness through his actions and speech. The message for Titus and all young men is that they should set an example of sound doctrine. This "training manual" offers guiding principles of conduct, including good works the servant is expected to perform while waiting for the glorious appearing of our Lord.
We need to know in advance how to respond in certain situations and be willing to listen before making decisions and judgments that affect others. When we face spiritual and moral issues, we should not be impulsive or unreasonable. These reactions can be confusing and often lead to questions and arguments instead of providing sound advice that gives clear answers based on scripture.
