1st John 1:2. “(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us)”
DISPLAYED LIGHT I saw light first as a glimmer as truth began to dawn – And as the Word of God unfolded the unknown soon was known. The One who was obscured from my mind by blatant unbelief Now was revealed by the truth standing out in bold relief.
I learned what was meant by “His blood shed on the tree,” And understood finally that His death there was for me. Then for the first time I could as a witness testify – Making know to others the reason Christ had to die.
Now to show to others the true meaning of God’s grace, Means I have a message as I go from place to place. Eternal life is real and I have now and forever – The bond formed by faith in Him, nothing at all can sever.
“It may only be a parenthesis Father, but the truth and teaching are real to me today. I am not called to be here for no reason. What I have I can tell and show to others. I thank Thee for the opportunity to bring some of the truth of this life to the man I was talking to at noon today. Help him to grasp the value of eternal life and lay hold on it. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
