1st John 5:1. “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” BORN OF GOD. Like the dawn of day Everything is new. Though the objects are the same, There is a different view. As my eyes register the changes, It is very hard to explain – How everything can be different, Yet still remain the same.
Then I consider it is not them but me; The objects are still the same. Changes within me affect what I perceive, I’m new-born in Jesus’ name. I look with a clear view now, Seeing things as God intended. Heavenly eye-salve has been applied, And spirit, soul and body now are blended
My hearing is different too, There are not distracting noises. What used to be just sounds, Now I hear lessons that God teaches. Even words seem much different, What was confusion now makes sense. I have been new-born of God, Now seeing and hearing have been changed.
Born of God affects my body, Things once done are left alone. Born of God affects my soul, As new life and attitudes are shown. Born of God affects my spirit, What once was dead now is alive. Really, all about me is different, For the Spirit dwells inside.
“This morning Father, as I looked and listened to the sounds sights of this early morning; I am impressed with how this must look to Thee who made it and saw, “It is good.” I have been to by Thee through the seeing of my eyes and the hearing of my ears, and I am called to worship and praise Thee, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
