1 Peter 1:17

REVERENT FEAR

1st Peter 1:17. “And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear.” REVERENT FEAR. Just because I know God as Father Doesn’t mean I am free to do what I want Every part of my life should be a testimony To a new nature God did in me impart. As a citizen now whose home is in heaven I travel this world as a stranger And testify with holy fear that is reverent The Great Judge is my heavenly Father.

I don’t assume because I am privileged To be a child of Almighty God That I have no obligation or restrictions I am bound to act by His Word. With reverential fear and respect It is important for me to be consistent Living each day as a pilgrim In holiness committed to be different.

“Holy God, my Father: I am aware that I am free in Christ to be obedient to Thee and Thy Word. I thank Thee for the liberty that has guidelines for successful living. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
