1st Peter 1:5. “Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;”
KEPT BY THE POWER OF GOD. It is always here – always available – always functioning God’s power – maintaining life – graciously unctioning The life of a believer with a view of furthering A testimony established which God began by regenerating With His power, this lost soul who in darkness had been wandering And now keeps me by His power through the Spirit’s indwelling.
Decisions have to be made and I wait awhile for an unfolding Of God’s mind being made plain to me so that I will be upholding The truths and purposes of God as faith acts in truth maintaining The on-going work He has placed in my hand and grace given for sustaining What God has done through this clay vessel and keeps it by strengthening It through His Spirit and His Word passing it on through teaching.
That power first seen and experienced came to me when saving Grace unfolded to me the truth of salvation and that same grace is keeping Me as the three Persons of the Godhead each work on my behalf by staying With me through every step of life-giving meaning to my existence by guiding Me and allowing me to act in faith as opportunities keep arising To serve in faith and works with God’s keeping power every need supplying.
“Father God, I do respond to Thy keeping power by acting in faith in relation to the work of this day ahead. There are things to be done in which I need Thy power. There are some decisions to be made that should only be made when I am assured of the power to do them. So I ask for wisdom to act in faith today. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
