1st Peter 4:19. “Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” FAITHFUL CREATOR. He is the same as when He spoke first in the world – “Let there be light,” and the light began to shine. He’s the same as when He came and salvation’s plan unfolded, And the light that shone on sinners was Him.
In the future He’ll still be for all eternity, Known as the “Faithful and True.” He is a faithful Creator to those who are suffering – And His grace and power will bring them through.
The will of God may lead to places we’d avoid, If we were choosing the pathway of our life. But if it’s here at home or serving Him abroad – Let not the suffering be suffering caused by strife.
The Word of God unbound leaves an impact around That the faithful Creator can use as He will. The keeping of my soul I will leave to Him who found Me and saved me, and I know will keep me still.
My trust is in Him alone who will finish what He started, When He made a “new creation” out of me. He provided for my need when His Spirit He imparted, And joy from His travail the Creator will then see.
“O God, Thy faithfulness has been unchanging. Since the Lord Jesus Christ, the “Faithful Creator,” made me new in Him, I have found it a joy to let Him use me as He will. When I press for my own will – I lose that joy. I am learning Father. Please be patient with this lump of clay. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
