1st Peter 5:9. “Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” HOLY RESISTANCE. Vulnerable and alone; isolated and feeling abandoned? Stop! Consider this while you are undergoing this test. All over this world there are saints that seem stranded – But for His own reasons, God knows this trial is best.

What a glorious thought, after these battles are fought Faith triumphs and the angels in heaven sing praise. Instead of naught, watchers see what God has wrought And the universal song is, “Jesus saves!’
Stand fast faithful saint; pray, watch and wait, For the day of reckoning will someday come. The devil’s roar will fade, don’t you be afraid, Be strong to resist – God is still on His throne!
“Help the suffering, O Lord. Give power to the tested ones. Encourage the great band of the tested to be strong in Thee, and in the power of the Spirit of God to resist the devil. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
