Colossians 1:6. "Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:"
THE GRACE OF GOD IN TRUTH. There is a counterfeit now the same as was back when Strange ideas about God were put forth by false men, Who would say what they thought, and insisted was true, But all it is now as then is a "gospel according to you."
Real truth when presented in fellowship with God, Is the same message wherever it is preached all over the world. There is no difficulty in determining what is false from the truth. The Gospel of God is the message that brings forth lasting fruit.
When it is presented the Holy Spirit convicts; And the consciences of many by truth are pricked. Sin and righteousness and judgment to come - Makes hearers realize the path they're on is wrong.
Truth preached presents Christ as the only Savior from sin.
It can bring repentance about in the hardest of men. But when it is deliberately rejected, and people turn away; It will not be long until grace has had its day.
For those who turn to Christ when the Gospel is preached, Are those who appreciate how far grace has reached - To bring those who were aliens and strangers to grace, Into the fold of those who have believed in Christ by faith.
Evidence of reality doesn't take long to become known. The fruit of the Spirit in new believers is shown. People who knew them before now can see - There is a new life in those who are prepared for eternity.
This change is not something local, it is the same worldwide. The new life in Christ bears fruit we cannot hide. Faith came by hearing and hearing from the Word of God. Grace and truth lead to faith that acknowledges Jesus as Lord.
"O God of the Gospel: I have seen the fruit of grace received in many people. I pray for those who have received Christ as their Savior - that we all as members of one Body, bring forth praise and glory to Thee. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."
