Colossians 2:9. "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
THE FULLNESS OF DEITY. Who could ever explain or even define God? But once a remarkable thing happened - God walked on the Galilee road - He walked on the road through Jericho - And He walked the streets of Jerusalem too. God came to earth and took on a human form - Every work and every word He spoke was true. He was in fashion as a man, but way above human norm.
If I want to see what the Father is like - I have to look intently upon the Son - For though in the human body He took - The Lord Jesus and the Father were still One. The actions He did, the places He went, Were sometimes led by the Spirit - The Spirit of God who gives new birth - Used the Son's voice that men might hear of it.
The Love of the Father and the love of the Son, Use the same physical body to express The grace that brought salvation to men, And the on-going ways of God to bless. When we see the One, we seem them all - Of that there is no question - To try and define the Godhead in words - Will take more than one eternal lesson.
"I thank Thee Father, for revealing Thyself through the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank Thee, Lord Jesus, for giving Thyself for me on the cross and allowing me to live in and through Thee. I thank Thee, Holy Spirit, for indwelling me and giving me new life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."
