EXODUS 1:12. “But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.” CONFLICT. A new king arises against an eternal God. He didn’t know who really is Lord. The power of a man is a trivial thing, Against God from whom life itself does spring.
A fully armed nation arises against a nation of slaves. They’re unaware of God’s promises to their fathers He gave. In spite of affliction, the slave-nation grows – The promises of God’s grace to all of them He shows.
Afflicting taskmasters against God-fearing wives – Each child comes early; a blessing in disguise. God intervenes in such remarkable ways, To fulfill His promises and do what He says.
There’s a lesson I learn when conflicts arise – When God steps in, it should be no surprise,
That what He has promised, He will surely fulfill, And in spite of a conflict, wants me doing His will.
“There are some tensions and a few conflicts around, Father God that seem to affect adversely the harmony of the believers in some of these places. If there is some message Thou dost want me to give to them, make it unmistakably clear. If I am to keep silent when asked about some of these matters, help me to do just that, In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
