GENESIS 1:1. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” IN THE BEGINNING GOD. In the beginning - past unknown, before the Voice on earth was heard, The “Three in One” in symphony, made plans so fine that they defy All thoughts of those who seek today, in quest of knowledge, to fully learn How things happened and came to be, as looking around at all they see, many try - To explain with words, what came from nothing, made by – “The Word of God.”
Designed by Intelligence so supreme, from the smallest vein to the largest star; Evidence is there for all to see who look with eyes that link to minds. A plan of God, still incomplete, reveals to us what all these things were created for. God unfolds to us who want to know; when we seek, we will surely find – The intricate forms, sizes and colors too, reveal to us, “The Mind of God.”
The display of glory as I search for reasons clearly shows, the One who does all this has Love; Love that He wants to express that He might share this glory and the wondrous joy it brings. In making such beauty in so many different ways, I easily see that wherever humankind does live; The harmony: form, color, size - different in each the print of the One who made these things – And wants to share them, not for selfish gain, but fellowship that shows – “The Love of God.”
I touch and taste and smell the essence of all created things that are there placed before me; I wonder, amazed at all I cannot see but know its there and fulfilling the role of divine intention. What is behind all this, what is the purpose? Then I understand all this around that I can see, Has been provided that I who cannot do it or do without it, evidence of gracious intervention In my existence, is given so I can know the blessings of “The Grace of God.”
I do not understand, nor ever can or will, all that God is able to accomplish with a word. And it is beyond my grasp to think such awesome thoughts such as His mind conceals. But I know love and have experienced its blessings in my life coming from my gracious Lord, And the grace I needed to be linked by bands of faith; the cross of Calvary has revealed. And through my daily walk here on earth and in heaven to come, I know – “The Blessing of God.”
“O Lord God Almighty, who has revealed Thyself to me in many ways, but clearly in Thy Word: I am thankful for the power of simplicity. So much has been said with so few words. I am far too wordy to be able to express myself appropriately to Thee, but this morning, I worship by saying the word – “God.” It unfolds to me thoughts I cannot say but I offer them in praise to Thee. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
