SINNER AND SIN Self-will in worship is shown to be wrong, By the righteousness of one that does right. The judgment of God on such a person is strong, When he goes against truth and a holy God defies.
APOSTATES AND APOSTASY Rejection of God and His truth may start small, With the simple word “but” when self takes the throne. When men take their way – no longer on God call, Then God takes their choice – and leaves them alone.
PROMISED ONE AND THE PROMISE What God has planned can never be stopped, Satan himself is powerless to change. But still the adversary continues attacks, And uses man’s weakness to display his rage.
But God has promised blessing to the world of men. Through His divine will, the Savior has come. His divine plan has defeated the problem of sin, Those who call on the Lord, know the power of His name.
“O God, there are many chapters in human history that show how quickly we forget who You are and how sinful we are. Forgive me when I fail to learn from the lessons, I read about from those in the past. Keep my memories in the forepart of my mind so that I am quick to respond to what has been proven to be right.
