GENESIS 6:8. “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” FOUND GRACE. What can be done to find such grace? Is there some action to take – some pathway to trace? That we might claim God’s presence filling this space? For this need that’s surrounded by wickedness in this place – Oh Lord God Almighty, I am seeking Thy face! This nation needs desperately Thy salvation!
A man and his God who have both walked together, Have nothing to hide they cannot share with each other. God knows the heart-thoughts and the wickedness they foster. Noah had some children who would follow their father. Judgment was soon coming, and the remnant would gather – This family is in need of salvation!
The grace of God was directed to this man of faith. He had no problem believing what the word of God saith. His response was to understand and act on the warning God sent. When the result of the years of labor and ark-building were spent – They moved into the place of salvation!
When God warns us of danger coming in the years up ahead; And we are sure God does exactly what He already has said, Then it is wisdom on our part to go where God’s grace has led, And accept God’s “Ark of Safety” just as Noah did – And receive Him who is the God of salvation!
“Father God, for these 55 years of enjoying the blessings of Thy grace, I give Thee thanks. For all the way Thou has led me in the paths of Thy choosing, I give Thee thanks. For experiencing the fellowship of God in the service we are involved in, I give Thee thanks, honor and praise, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
