Joshua 11:15. “As the Lord commanded Moses His servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord commanded Moses.” CONQUEST For seven long years the battles were fought The odds were against them but they never stopped Until the land God promised belong to them God gave Israel victories though with fewer men.
Obeying God is one thing we can control We commit ourselves deep within our soul To listen to His will and act on what we know Then He will act for us and His power show.
I cannot control what other people may do Nor can I demand what I think I am due But I can control whether I my Lord obey And if I will listen and act on what He will say.
It is within my power to rise and face the foe I can choose myself whether I will stay or go Victories take time for there is much land to possess And obedience is the key to God giving success.
Looking back over the land God has promised me I have a tendency to slack when things go slowly But He has promised never to leave nor forsake So by God’s power and my obedience this land I will take.
“O God of power and victory, I ask this day that the land to be possessed before us might be taken by the power of Thy grace. The enemies of discouragement and defeat are upon these people and yet I see a change already in the way they are responding to Thy Word. Help us to commit to obeying Thy leading in the work before us this day, that much glory will be brought to Thee and these people will be delivered from any bonds imposed on them by the circumstances they are in, and set at liberty. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
