Matthew 16:15

WHO IS HE?

Matthew 16:15. “He saith unto them, ‘But whom say ye that I am?’”

WHO IS HE? Who is He? The Sign from heaven, Came here to earth from the Father given; That sinners all might be forgiven. After three days and nights – from the grave He is risen. He was the Sign to His generation.

Who is He? What do men say? “He is a prophet who has come this way.” Elijah, John, Jeremiah or from some ancient day, A prophet of old made from our same clay. They couldn’t see past themselves.

Who is He? “Who do you say I am?” And Peter answers for all of them: “Thou art the Christ who from heaven came, The Son of God, the great I AM.” His eyes were opened by the Father.

Who is He? The Solid Rock: The gates of hell have never shook; The Rock on which the Church is built. And never will, for He who flesh took, Is the Son of the Living God.

Who is He? He is the Lord alone, Who came to earth from His heavenly throne? While here on earth, for sins He atoned, And now for us, who His Lordship own, He is our Lord and Savior.

“O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” I thank Thee for revealing Him to me. Thanks for giving me the spiritual eyesight to understand who the Savior is. I know Him and appreciate the fellowship I am allowed to have with the Father and the Son, through the Spirit who dwells in me. Amen.”
