Matthew 24:2

WHAT DO I SEE?

Matthew 24:2. “And Jesus said unto them, ‘See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.’” WHAT DO I SEE? What do you see, looking into the past? Just ancient history, or lessons that last? Events that occurred, whose shadows are cast – Over things that are happening to me.

I see faithful men who from God, things had learned – I learn from many others who God’s truth did spurn – I learn right now in the pages I turn That God knows what is happening to me.

What do I see, looking around in this present? Much seems so successful, beautiful and pleasant. With all that men have, why miss full contentment – Am I worth what is what is happening to me?

I have so much, people look on with envy. I am so blessed with my wife and my family. I am enjoying the ways that God is willing to use me.

Is God honored by what’s happening to me?

When I open the Bible, I see into the future. God’s truth and God’s warnings are true. Darkness on earth deepens, events start to show. I praise God it’s not going to happen to me.

I see around earth, many troublesome signs – Wars, unrest, evil, lies – most men’s eyes blind. But beyond the mudslide of morals – there shines – The Son – God knows what is happening to me.

“O God of all ages: past, present and future is all one to Thee. Thank You for making clear to me through the Holy Scriptures of truth the way Thou hast over the years of the past and present, made plain what is expected of men. I look ahead and see the dark clouds advancing, but I am content knowing I am secure in Thy hands and in the path of Thy will. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
