Philippians 1:22

THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR

Philippians 1:22. “But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I wot not.”

THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR. The spread of the Gospel – the joy that it brings The joy that I get when a congregation sing, “O happy day, O happy day, when Jesus washed my sins away…” Is what has made my life more than what I say But is a series of holy and daily events That comes through Him whom the Lord sent The Holy Spirit to dwell within and then guide As continually He remains and in me abides To produce in my life what can bring glory to God Allowing me the privilege to speak for my Lord Words of life to those who in sin are dead And then through them, the Gospel is spread The believers are gathered to be built up in faith And through them to their communities God shows His grace As they in turn teach their own children and others And live as God’s family – they are sisters and brothers With a new life-style that changed them, that is obvious And a darkened community now has light and a conscience That reveals what is right to those in the darkness And brings the light of life when they too hearken So, the process continues and it has spread world wide And the fruit of my labor in prayer, is that this work will abide With commitment to God and His unfailing truth And rejoicing, some day we partake of this God-given fruit.

“I don’t know what Thou art able to use Father God, of the years of my labor. But if some precious souls are blessed with salvation and spiritual growth, then I am satisfied and blessed. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
