Song of Solomon 3:6. “Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all the powders of the merchant?” WHO IS THIS? He cannot be mistaken, there is none like Him; Coming out of the wilderness, He is easy to be seen. The scent of Him precedes Him, it is not hard to tell; This is He who they said, “He doeth all things well.”
He is the King of glory, strong and mighty He; As Lord of hosts, it’s obvious, He everyone shall see, Those who know Him, love Him, they hear Him when He calls; And when the Bride comes to Him, she will before Him fall.
Our love for this great Person, exceeds the love of men. His love for us outstanding, make us to worship Him. He comes from Edom, glorious; there He a vict’ry gained. As those He has forgiven, His blood has cleansed all stains.
He is known by reputation, for the things that He has done. He is known by adoration, for He our hearts have won. He is known by adulation; millions call Him Lord. He is known as my salvation, when I take Him at His word.
He has come through tribulation, the cross to that attests. He has borne our condemnation, we on this fact do rest. He has called to every nation, the masses to believe; And by virtue of redemption, we cleansing can receive.
He is the Son of David; in the kingly line he’s named. He is the Son of Abraham, who knew Him before He came. He is the Son of Man, one of our own is He. He is the Son of God, and eternally shall be.
I know Him as my Savior, I know Him as my Lord; I know Him as Redeemer and I know Him as the Word. I know Him as my Counselor, I know Him as my Friend. I know Him as the Coming King I will live with without end.
“I give thanks today, O God, for the privilege of knowing Thee and the Lord Jesus Christ. It is easy to understand how eternal life is so significant when we know God. All of the unseen things around us and all that is lasting takes its’ character from Thee. I offer praise in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
