Comfort One Another. 1st Thessalonians 4:18 The apostle Paul wrote this to encourage the believers in Thessalonica and the saints of God throughout the ages. This provides comfort for believers in both their lives and deaths and affirms their assurance and certainty about the future. Bereavement causes sorrow, while hope offers relief and solace to the soul.
The fellowship and joy we've experienced here will then be complete. Rejoicing with the Lord and the finished bride, we finally meet as one purchased possession He paid for with the "blood of His own." We are destined to share in the blessings of the One who now sits on His throne and will forever be the King Eternal.
