PROGRESS NO FURTHER. 2nd Timothy 3:9 Sin can be concealed for a while, but anger, guilt, and distraction from trying to hide it will eventually reveal who a person truly is. The truth will come out, and false teachers and their messages will become clear even to those who followed them. False teaching might change people temporarily, but it cannot give them new life in Christ. Unless someone is born again through the Spirit and the Word of God, they cannot sustain a testimony rooted in forgiveness and God's love, which naturally flows from being saved from their sins.
There is no power to resist and overcome sin in the energy of the flesh. There is no freedom from the chains of sin, bad conscience, the causes of sin, and powerlessness to please God unless a sinner has accepted Christ as their Savior and become a partaker of the divine nature. Without divine life, a new nature, and the Holy Spirit dwelling within, this life cannot have lasting joy. The world, flesh, and devil cannot be resisted without the power of God.
