In the light there will be love In the dark there will be hate In the light there is compassion In the dark there is bitterness In the light there is learning In the dark there is arrogance In the light there is understanding In the dark there is ignorance In the light there is joy In the dark there is sadness In the light there is a song In the dark there is surliness In the light there is hope In the dark there is hopelessness In the light there is meaningful prayer In the dark there is silence before God In the light the Word of God of God comes alive to us In the dark the Word of God is not truly read In the light there will be no shame at His Coming In the dark there will be shame when Jesus comes In the light there will be great joy seeing Jesus In the dark the eyes will drop at seeing Him Always say what is true – Always be what you really are.
“Holy God, Thou doest know what a person says and what a person really means. May I always say what is true and commit myself to be in the light. I seriously want to avoid the darkness and the sadness that is associated with being in the dark. I pray this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
