1st John 3:10. “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” CHILDREN OF GOD ARE MANIFEST. Facial features may be quite similar but the evidence of new life is more than looks. The way God does things and the power He gives is often shown in righteous works. Above and beyond all the temporal things is what has come down to us from above – The children of God are made manifest by divinely imparted love.
You may see them walking slowly along helping the very young or old. They may be far away in some foreign land and yet they can feel at home. There are things they do that are peculiar and you may wonder at the cost – The reason they sacrifice and give is because they care for the lost.
They might seem to some old fashioned by the modesty of their style. Or if you had a special need, I’m sure they will go the extra mile. When they go out into the public, the crowd often gives a sideways glance, When doing what they know is God’s will, they are not willing to take a chance.
The children of God are manifest in the homeland or in far-off nations, Because they have a concern for those who do not have God’s salvation. The evidence that they are a part of, God’s spiritual family – Is not that they all wear the same clothes, but commit to live righteously
“Holy Father, I have seen on many occasions evidence of a child of God by watching their ways and works. Bless Thy children, Father, and help all of is to live righteously and to Thy glory. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
