1st Peter 3:2. “While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.” MODESTY AND RESPECT. I watch as she struggles to keep her long hair tidy. I observe at a distance her choosing clothes reflecting piety. I proudly take my place beside her appreciating her modesty. I know that what is outwardly seen is genuine honesty.
I stand apart and often glance to see if she’s alright, And see her ministering to someone with countenance so bright.
I look as she moves with dignity among the people of God – I know she is a good example of a woman owning Jesus Lord.
Her name and reputation are held in high respect. She knows what she is doing, the truth of God protects. The joy her face projects, gives power unto her words – Those who observe her know she lives before her Lord.
Her witness in visible ways, adds to what I teach. Her attitude enforces the message – enabling me to reach Those who form opinions of me just by watching her – And they conclude what I have to say is living truth for sure.
“Father God, there must be a lot of impact and lasting impressions created by godly sisters. Help them to find joy and meaning in their calling and role. Continue to use Linda in ways that are so effective. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
