Exodus 19:5–6

ABOVE ALL NATIONS

EXODUS 19:5-6. “Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine: and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” ABOVE ALL NATIONS. God looks upon His own and sees What to lesser men would be disdained. To heavenly eyes, these people mean God’s promises can be maintained – And through this treasure, strange to man – Comes hope to those who look afar. From those delivered by God’s mighty hand – Through this peculiar treasure, comes the Morning Star.

This priestly kingdom has a work – Which to the world has been ignored; As intercessor-priests, they start, The process by which the Lord Can justify lost wandering souls, Allowing them to live who long have sinned – To be accepted, cleansed, made whole – And by Christ’s blood can be redeemed.

A holy nation in this world

Is very strange where countries fight For supremacy, power and even gold – Not knowing truth, but loving night. Shining across all scattered lands – The light of this holy nation glows – Giving guidance morally to man – As grace and truth in this nation shows.

Even though this ancient peculiar treasure – Is scattered far and wide today – There is a people by which men measure Grace, truth and morals by what they say. They know their God – can call Him Father, And He calls them a kingdom of priests. They once were lost, but now Christ is their Savior, And by their presence, the world is blessed.

“Gracious Father: this morning I come to Thee as one who has come from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God. I am soon going to speak to a large number of young people who hardly know who they are or their high calling from Thee. Please, Gracious Father: give me suitable words to explain to them who they are and who they serve. Help me to connect to them and relate to them in a meaningful way. Give to Thy weak servant divine power to channel Thy Word and will to them that they will respond in faith, love and enthusiasm to their Lord and Savior. May God be glorified in every thing about this day we spend together in Thy Word. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
